Providence Health & Services Provider Network Manager in Torrance, California

We are seeking a Provider Network Manager PHN who will manage PHN's provider network and network development activities across participating facilities and provider groups. Works collaboratively with PHN executives and serve as a liaison to executives and senior leaders within participating groups and facilities. Strengthen and manage ongoing relationships with the PHN network, consisting of hospitals, participating providers, and other contracted, employed or enrolled entities. Oversee issue management and resolution for the PHN provider network. Support new physician recruitment and integration into PHN and the clinically integrated network.

In this position you will:

  • Serve as the key leader dedicated to the maintenance of PHN’s provider network and associated partner provider rosters

  • Work closely with roster vendor and product partners to oversee the management of all roster data, identifying areas for continued process improvement, and timely submission and processing of rosters, and supporting PHN’s multiple product lines including commercial and Medicare Advantage products

  • Participate in weekly meetings with product partners, addressing provider relations and data integrity issues

  • Perform monthly geo-access and network adequacy analysis on PHN’s full provider network

  • Recommend provider engagement strategies, based upon results of geo-access and network adequacy analysis

  • Responsible for executing continuous market analysis and recommending growth strategies within specialty groupings, and across regions within PHN’s service areas

  • Responsible for oversight and compliance with related Policies and Procedures specific to PHN’s Provider Network and roster maintenance

  • Manage PHN’s roster email, including any necessary follow-up with partner provider groups and independently contracted providers

  • Work closely with PHN’s Contracting team to support the recruitment of PHN independently contracted providers, and their participation in the PHN network

  • Work closely with PHN’s Provider Relations team to support the ongoing maintenance of the independently contracted providers and the integrity of their provider data

  • Work closely with PHN’s Compliance Officer in support of DMHC filings related to PHN’s provider network

Qualifications:

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in healthcare related field

  • 5 years related experience

  • Strong Interpersonal Skills

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Strong problem solving skills. Creative and flexible approach to program development and implementation

  • Strong organizational skills, and attention to detail

  • Comfortable with data. Ability to analyze data sets, draw conclusions, understand significance

  • Highly functional in Excel, with the ability to write formulas and work in pivot tables

  • Ability to present to small audiences, and work with senior leadership

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or other relevant healthcare program or equivalent educ/experience

  • 3 years leadership experience

  • 3 years customer/client management experience
