Providence Health & Services Patient Services Technician in Torrance, California
Providence is calling a Patient Service Technician (Part-Time, Variable Shift) to Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center Torrance in Torrance, CA.
In this position you will:
- Be accountable to the bedside RN and Nurse Leader to facilitate a safe and secure environment for the patient, family and providers in the department in completion of the duties delegated to them for the shift maintaining clear communication between the needs of the patient through the RN and Nurse Leader.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Completion of Medical Terminology course or successful completion of hospital medical terminology test within 90 days.
One year Unit secretary or Nurse Assistant in a comparable size facility, preferably within the same or similar specialty.
Current CPR Certification (BLS Healthcare Providers)
Proficient in Medical Terminology
Basic Computer skills
Customer Service Training.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Completed training as a Certified Nursing Assistant
