Providence Health & Services Contracts Support Coordinator in Torrance, California

Description:

Providence is calling a Full time, Day shift Contracts Support Coordinator to Providence California Regional Services in Torrance, CA.

We are seeking a Contracts Support Coordinator who will manage the creation, updating, management, and evaluation of Regional and Clinical Affiliation agreements.

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Creating new contracts with educational institutions or other entities, based on the available guidelines

  • Revising existing contracts as requested and as required by dates/insurance documents

  • Monitoring, tracking and maintaining existing contract records to ensure that they are current and continue to meet requirements

  • Analyzing, offering solutions, and responding to issues related to submission of contracts

  • Creating/running reports for management and system leaders

  • Asking for assistance and integrating responses from the legal and risk department personnel who provide support for non-standard questions and contract template changes

  • Coordinating and tracking the contract review process, and work with leaders to complete contract reviews rapidly

  • Educating leaders in contract management requirements

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Experience assisting projects or programs

  • Familiarity with contracts and legal terminology

  • High level of attention to detail

  • Strong understanding of time management and ability to prioritize and accomplish both routine and additional assigned tasks

  • Proven ability to work on several tasks simultaneously

  • Ability to quickly get onboard with new software

  • Ability to work effectively with interactive systems

  • Effective written and oral communications and interpersonal skills

  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat

  • Proven decision-making and escalation abilities

  • Ability to understand standard business documentation

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Contract Management or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience, healthcare experience

  • Previous experience assisting / coordinating mid to large scale contract management projects
